GLIMPSE - Sundar C returns as a director after some gap. This could be considered as a similar movie to thalai nagaram with little twists here and there. Let me get into the review straight.
FIRST HALF - The story could be told in 2 two lines. A former rowdy wants to live as a normal man, but he cant due to obstacles that occur because of helping his friend. Bose venkat played as inspector and friend of Sundar C. But he involves in all illegal activities to earn huge money. He uses sundar C for such works without telling the depth of the criminalism to him. Meanwhile sundar C sees anuya and loves her. Vadivelu plays a tremendous comedy role which will make us laugh out loud like a mad. At one point sundar C comes to know that his friend is doing bad things.
SECOND HALF - Bose Venkat locks horn with a muslim gangster of pondicherry. At one point he unknowingly steals narcotics costing crore which belongs to that gangster. As bose came to know there was threat for his life he wants to give back. So he calls Sundar C's help. He was on the occassion of marriage with anuya at that time. As bose promises he wont disturb him further, he goes with him to pondicherry postponing his marriage. That Muslim gangster is a boss for Sundar C before. But as a twist at the time of handover of narcotics bose shoots that boss. He dies. So the sons of those gangster kills bose tracking him upto hospital on the failed attempt to kill him with a lorry on the road. They also wants to kill sundar C, as they believe he has made all the plans to kill their father. Meanwhile Sundar C saves anuya from a cruel man who treats her mother as keep and also wants to marry anuya too.
CLIMAX - Sundar C runs for life. He plans to goto hyderabad and run a travels there. His friend george (jodi no 1) makes all the arrangemnents. He helps anuya reach the central station. Sundar C arrives there and sees her. Here there is a twist. Know it by watching the movie.
MERITS : Vadivelu has done a great job which made firsthalf full of nonstop comedy. Screenplay is engaging. Many twists make the movie watchable.
DE-MERITS : Sundar C is with the same looks in all his movies, Why not he show some getup changes?. Song were not appreciable. Music too doesn't appeal too good, especially BG score is poor.
MY PUNCH : If u want to watch a speedy movie with good comedy which puts a brake now and then as a relief, see Nagaram once.
